Westside Food Bank's annual 5K Hunger Walk will take place on Sunday October 26, 2014 at 12pm at Ocean View Park, 2701 Barnard Way in Santa Monica

Hunger Walk Video

Description:

The Westside Food Bank’s annual walk-a-thon and kick-off for our holiday food drive attracts hundreds of participants from companies, churches, schools, non-profit agencies and the community at large. There will be food & drinks, games, raffle prizes and much more. This walk-a-thon is a fun way to spend the afternoon with co-workers, family and friends while helping our less fortunate neighbors right here in our own community.

WHAT:WESTSIDE FOOD BANK’S ANNUAL HUNGER WALK
WHEN: Sunday, October 26, 2014 @ 11:30 a.m. / Walk begins at 1:30 p.m.
WHERE:

Ocean View Park, 2701 Barnard Way - just south of Ocean Park Blvd on the east side of Barnard Way, at the Beach in Santa Monica.
Parking: in the all day city beach lot south of Ocean Park Blvd.

WHY:To help fight hunger in our community, raise awareness about local hunger and have a great time!

BECOME A WALKER:

Everyone is welcome to walk. There is no registration fee, and no minimum fundraising requirement. This year our goal is to dramatically increase attendance so please come and tell your friends!

DONATE A RAFFLE ITEM:

You can also join in the fight against hunger by donating a raffle item to this year’s Hunger Walk. On the day of the event, we acknowledge the names of those companies and individuals who have made donations to make our afternoon successful. We invite you to send a representative from your company to provide promotional materials for your products and services and to hand out your donated raffle prize(If you are unable to send someone, we will gladly display your materials for you). We also list donors on our website. This is a great way to gain exposure in the community!
