Registration is Open for Westside Food Bank's 28th Annual 5K Hunger Walk on October 21st, 2018

Ocean View Park - 2701 Barnard Way Santa Monica (just south of Ocean Park Blvd.) Check-in begins at 12pm.

Registration is free, fundraising is optional and together we can raise awareness about local hunger and what Westside Food Bank is doing about it.

Sponsorship packages include social media coverage, logos on tee shirts, mailers and other event materials as well as a presence at the event, tickets to the after party and volunteer opportunities for your team during our busy holiday season. Participate in the Hunger Walk!

  • Be a Hunger Walker - individuals and families can register to walk, create an individual fundraising page and join us on October 21st.
  • Be a Virtual Walker - Not able to join us for the event? Hate walking? No problem. Register online as a virtual walker and you can still invite your friends and family to support Westside Food Bank
  • Form a Walking Team - gather your friends and family, colleagues, classmates and more to walk together. You'll get a dedicated team webpage to track your progress with each team member contributing towards group and individual goals. We encourage friendly competition, so consider inviting a competing business, school or club to form a team and see who can bring the most walkers or raise the most money!

FAQs:

Participation is Free. Do I have to register?

Registration is required for participation at the Hunger Walk. By registering, you are also able to create or join a team, and can invite others to fundraise on your behalf.

Are children of all ages allowed at the Hunger Walk? Can my dogs come, too?

Children of all ages, including those in strollers, are welcome at the Hunger Walk! Dogs are also welcome at the Hunger Walk, as long as they are on-leash.

How do I input donations made offline to my fundraiser page?

If you receive cash or check donations, please mail them to Westside Food Bank, or drop them off at our office: Westside Food Bank 1710 22nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Include the fundraiser and/or team name, as well as the names, dates, email addresses, and amounts affiliated with each individual donation. Upon receipt, we will send donation receipts and credit these donations to your online fundraiser/team. For more help with this, you can email Aviva or call her at (310) 828-6016 x16.
