Executive Director's Message regarding the Woolsey Fire:

More than half of the Woolsey Fire burned in the Westside Food Bank's service area. We are moving into action to provide for the new food assistance needs of those who will be struggling to recover from the fire in the months ahead. Our most effective response will be to spend more on bulk food purchases to bridge the gap. Financial contributions to Westside Food Bank will be especially effective at this time. Make your donation here.

General updates about Woolsey Fire recovery services can be found here.

Westside Food Bank video:

The need for food assistance in our area is up by over 85% since the start of the Great Recession. Please help us put nutritious food on the tables of local families and individuals.  Make your donation here and/or sign up to become a virtual fundraiser and invite your friends and family to support our cause as well. Thanks for giving the gift of nourishment.

Westside Food Bank’s mission is to distribute as much food as possible to local agencies with food assistance programs and to reduce food waste on the Westside of Los Angeles County. As the food bank warehouse for the Westside since 1981, we annually distribute 4.5 million pounds of food to over 70 local social service agencies. We do not distribute food directly to individuals, only to agencies.
